“Possessing a power both in her artistry and femininity, SelfDivision is a master of her own sound.”

SelfDivision is the project of Sydney-based singer, songwriter and producer Jessica Fitzgibbon. Her music lives in the space between trip-hop, folk and electronica: hypnotic, immersive work that uses the natural world as a lens for the interior one.

Her 2023 debut EP ENIGMA, created in collaboration with drum and bass producer Royalston, drew comparisons to Portishead, FKA Twigs and Björk, and established her as a distinctive voice in Australian electronic music.

Following on from the playful “Build Up To” released in May 2026, “Snake” is the second single from SelfDivision’s forthcoming debut album - a record that expands her sonic palette while sharpening her vision. Snake was co-produced with Jack Ladder at Golden Retriever Studios, with Laurence Pike (Sarah Blasko, PVT) on percussion, and the project overseen by Isabella Manfredi (The Preatures) as A&R.
